His career began in 2019 when the release of his debut single, “Old Streets,” went viral and quickly gained popularity on streaming platforms. He followed up with his debut mixtape "Pregame Rituals" later that year, which featured collaborations with fellow rising stars Lil Keed and YNW Melly.
In 2020, 2K signed a record deal with Warner Records and released his second mixtape, "The Betway.” The project featured guest appearances from NLE Choppa, YFN Lucci, and G Herbo, among others. He also gained recognition for his collaborations with Marshmello and DaBaby on the songs "Like This" and "Go", respectively.
Characterized by his melodic flow and introspective lyrics, 2K’s music often touches on themes of love, loss, and the struggles of growing up in a tough environment. He has been praised for his ability to connect with listeners on an emotional level and has been compared to fellow Kentucky native Bryson Tiller.
